The MVPuppets was an awesome Nike commercial series that imagined a life where Kobe and LeBron lived together … and were puppets.
Nike’s MVPuppets were a popular 2008–2010 commercial series featuring puppet versions of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James as roommates, highlighting their “best in the world” rivalry, championship quests, and banter.

For those of you who don’t remember, that was when the Kobe vs. LeBron debate was at an all-time high. These commercials aired when Kobe had only three championship rings and LeBron was still looking for his first with the Cavs.

Voiced by Kenan Thompson (LeBron) and David Alan Grier (Kobe), the ads often focused on Kobe’s rings vs. LeBron’s pursuit of them.
